Welcome to Summer Forum 2017

Have you ever wondered how to develop urban spaces and integrate citizen-centric services in the face of reducing budgets and city politics? Or what is the real impact of smart technologies on community life?

How do we create interconnected cities which will promote empowerment and limit exclusion, boost diversity and reduce poverty, nurture creativity and eradicate disadvantage?

To explore these any many other questions about urban communities and inclusive city design, the University of Bristol and the UK Research Councils are
delighted to invite you to our
Bristol Summer Forum.

Featuring collaborative teams from the AHRC Connected Communities programme and the Urban Living Pilots, the two-day event features a series of talks and workshops on creative partnerships between universities and civil society organisations working together co-design, reinvent and improve life in the city and its surroundings.
